EXHAUST GAS TREATMENT METHOD FOR GAS STERILIZER AND APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treatment apparatus capable of safely and efficiently detoxifying high concentration of sterilization gas.

SOLUTION: The exhaust gas treatment apparatus for a gas sterilizer for detoxifying the exhaust gas from the gas sterilizer 2 is provided with an adsorption column 5 for adsorbing the sterilization gas in the exhaust gas; a catalyst burning device 6 for catalyst-burning the sterilization gas in the exhaust gas discharged from the adsorption column 5; an ejector 11 for introducing diluted air previously heated by a previous heating heater 13 when the exhaust gas discharged from the adsorption column 5 is introduced to the catalyst burning device 6; and a heat exchanger 4 for heat-exchanging the exhaust gas discharged from the catalyst burning device 6 and the exhaust gas diluted in the ejector 11 and introduced to the catalyst burning device 6 and previously heating the exhaust gas introduced to the catalyst burning device 6. Exact detoxification is carried out and safety can be ensured while saving the amount of heating in the previous heating heater 13, enhancing energy efficiency and outstandingly reducing a running cost.
