<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus that enables each producer to reliably trace ingredients forming products even for products of a complicated type of production in which ingredients and the product have multilevel relations. <P>SOLUTION: A management computer generates external product specification data as handling names of ingredient products in ingredient specification data as names of ingredients of a finished product in external product specifications, names/characteristics of ingredients in the ingredient specification data as names/characteristics of primary constituents, and names/characteristics of primary constituents in the ingredient specification data as names/characteristics of secondary constituents.
