PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently cool an electrooptical panel. SOLUTION: A housing case for an electrooptical device which houses an electrooptical panel on which a display image is projected from a display surface is equipped with a main body part which can house the electrooptical panel so that the display surface is exposed, and a holding means of holding, in contact with the main body part, a tubular heat conducting means of conducting heat in the main body part to the outside.
