PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna device having wider-band characteristics while maintaining its outward shape size, having a simple stracture, capable of being made small in configuration, and capable of being easily manufactured. SOLUTION: Tapered stubs 21 and 22 are added nearby antenna elements 5 and 6 constituting a dipole antenna and those are formed by a known printed wiring technique. The tapered stubs 21 and 22 are each a portion of a right-angled triangle including a length D of a dielectric substrate 1 as one side and varies in pattern width from a maximum pattern width (length Ht) to zero. The pattern width varies including a width with which impedance matching with the antenna elements 5 and 6 is obtained, so the impedance matching with the antenna elements 5 and 6 can be obtained and wider-band characteristics can be obtained through electromagnetic coupling.
