PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which a spacer can move easily between a temporary locking position for allowing a terminal fitting to come out of the housing and a final locking position for restricting the terminal fitting to come out of it. SOLUTION: The connector 1 comprises a cylindrical connector housing 4 for housing a male terminal 3 and a spacer 5 which is mounted on the connector housing in free movement between a temporary locking position for allowing the male terminal 3 to come out of the connector housing 4 and a final locking position for restricting the male terminal 3 to come out of the connector housing 4. A slide groove 17 is formed at the inner face 4a of the connector housing 4. An elastic deformation arm 27 is provided at the outer face 14b of the spacer 5.
