PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove or reduce occurrence of crosstalk without altering a hardware part by crosstalk deciding/reducing programs when the crosstalk occurs to an LCD constituting the display screen of a display device such as a mobile telephone. SOLUTION: In the display device, a crosstalk deciding program which decides that crosstalk occurs and a crosstalk reducing program which reduces the crosstalk are stored in a ROM having a program for controlling a CPU stored therewith, and the crosstalk deciding/reducing programs decide whether display data corresponding to the display screen cause crosstalk according to characteristics of the LCD and converts the display data to reduce the crosstalk when deciding that the crosstalk is caused.
