PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anisotropic conductive connector of excellent repeated use durability used for inspecting a circuit device, such as a semiconductor integrated circuit, having a soldering protrusion electrode, and an inspection method of excellent inspection efficiency for the circuit device. SOLUTION: A lubricant is applied on a surface of the anisotropic conductive connector. The lubricant is applied at least on a surface, in a side contacting with the circuit device of an inspection object, of the anisotropic conductive connector used for bringing a circuit board for inspection into electric contact with the circuit device of the inspection object, and the circuit device is inspected thereafter.
