PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peptide chip for suppressing nonspecific adsorption of biomolecules, especially a peptide chip capable of acquiring high reliability data by blocking an unreacted functional group, when it is used for surface plasmon imaging measurement. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of the peptide chip, a functional group (A) on the chip is made to react with a functional group (B) existing in or added to the peptide, to thereby immobilize the peptide on the chip; and then the functional group (A) remaining on the chip surface is made to react with a hydrophilic polymer having a functional group (C), to thereby block the functional group (A) in the covalently bonded state.
