PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent paint contained inside a container body A from spilling because of the container body inclined even if the paint contained in a brush 3 is strongly pressed against a scraping part 8a of the container body A. SOLUTION: A narrowed incline part 8 is formed on the container body A so that a diameter is decreased toward an opening 6. An opening edge of the narrowed incline part forms the scraping part 8a for scraping the paint stuck to the brush 3. A handle 10 is provided on the container body A so that the handle 10 and the container body A are relatively rotate. Turning regulating projections 11a, 11b, 12a, and 12b are provided on the outside of the container body A so as to be arranged in positions of side parts of the handle 10 when it is erected appropriately perpendicular to an opening face of the container body in order to regulate turning of the container body with respect to the handle.
