PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a license plate mounting structure capable of covering a towing hook or a mounting part thereof by a simple configuration while ensuring the visibility of a license plate. SOLUTION: In the license plate mounting structure, a license plate 10 is fixed to a license plate mounting part 13 by engaging a locking member 18 with a first locked part 20 formed on the license plate mounting part 13. An opening 15 for a hook from which a towing hook 14 or the like is protruded is formed in the license plate mounting part 13, and a second locked part 21 to fix the license plate 10 to the license plate mounting part 13 by the locking member 18 while the opening part 15 for the hook is exposed is formed in the license plate mounting part 13.
