VEHICULAR VIEW SUPPORTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular view supporting device capable of enhancing the safety in driving a vehicle by eliminating any dead angle by a pillar. SOLUTION: A retro-reflecting surface 6 is formed on an inner side of a pillar 4 at the position to hinder vision of a vehicle driver seated in a driver's seat 5 in a cabin 1. A camera 7 to pick up an image of the outer side of the pillar 4 from the substantially same direction as the line of sight of the vehicle driver in the driver's seat 5 is mounted on a vehicle outside the cabin 1. A projector 8 to irradiate the image picked up by the camera 7 toward the retro-reflecting surface 6 of the pillar 4 on the real time basis is fixed in the cabin 1 at the position close to the eyes of the vehicle driver in the driver's seat 5.
