PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for a bicycle capable of efficiently lighting an LED while suppressing circuit losses between a dynamo and the LED. SOLUTION: The lighting device performs lighting by a dynamo 2, and has an LED unit and a protective means. The LED unit has at least one LED 4. The protective means is constituted of the internal resistance component R0 of the dynamo 2 and the constant voltage characteristic of the LED unit, and limits the current running in each LED to constitute the LED unit.
