PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device in which foreign matter is not caught in its movable parts. SOLUTION: This wiper device for a vehicle is provided with a drive link 2 supported on a car body to rotate and reciprocate by a prescribed angle, a dummy link 3 supported on a car body to be capable of rotating, an arm support link 4 connected to a tip part 2b of the drive link 2 and a tip part 3b of the dummy link 3, and a wiper arm 5 fixed to the arm support link 4. The drive link 2, the dummy link 3, and the arm support link 4 are contained on the inner side of a vehicle body. The wiper arm 5 has a curvature part 5b on the base side that is connected to the arm support link 4. An insertion hole 63 for the curvature part 5b to be inserted is provided on a raised surface 61b at a step part of a cowl top.
