PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bench cutter capable of irradiating the inside of the width of a cutting edge of a cutting tool with laser light indicating a position of the cutting tool. SOLUTION: A laser oscillator 30 is provided on a support member 32 so as to freely and horizontally move in a left and right direction, and the support member 32 is provided on a holder 5 part surrounded by a support part 12 of a cutting tool part 8 and also fixed on the part upper than a shaft 7. When the cutting tool part 8 is located at the upper limit position, a part of or the whole laser light L passes through a downward direction of the cutting tool 10, and without disturbed by the cutting tool 10 and without reflected with the shadow of a cutting material 40, the upper face of the cutting material 40 is irradiated with the laser light L.
