<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an autonomous, high-speed routing in the form of light, as it is. <P>SOLUTION: A light signal generating device 10 multiplies path control light having a wavelength, corresponding to the destination to an optical packet having a signal wavelength λs for outputting to an optical fiber 12. The branching filter 44 of an optical router 14 divides multiplexed light from the optical fiber 12 into three. An optical band-pass filter 46 extracts first route control light having a wavelength λ1, an optical band-pass filter 50 extracts an optical packet, and an optical band-pass filter 54 extracts second path control light, having a wavelength λ2.
