PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus with an external speaker in which the speaker can be easily attached/detached, and a contact defect can be prevented even when the speaker is repeatedly attached/detached. SOLUTION: The lock pawl 33 of an external speaker 30 is inserted into the lock hole 16 of a cabinet 11, and a connecting terminal 37 which is provided at the side of the cabinet 11, is inserted into a connecting jack 20 which is provided at the side of the external speaker 30. The connecting jack 20 is pressed by energizing force of a spring 23 which is an energizing means, and held at a position engaged with the connecting terminal 37. In order to engage the lock pawl 33 with the lock hole 16, the external speaker 30 is then slid. At such a time, the connecting jack 20 moves along a moving direction of the external speaker 30 against the spring 23. Thus, the connecting terminal 37 and a connecting pin 38 can be connected without disturbing sliding of the external speaker 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
