PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reading performance of an input signal after eliminating a defect state, or the like. SOLUTION: Under a predetermined condition after a synchronizing signal from an input signal has become not to be detected during a predetermined detection period and the interpolation of the synchronizing signal is started, it is determined whether each of synchronizing signals sequentially detected from the input signal is detected at normal timing. Re-synchronizing operation with the detected synchronization signal is made by locking a window position to the detection timing of a synchronizing signal detected from an input signal, according in the determination result.
