PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set whose convenience is improved and by which a human relationship is prevented from getting worse, even if a plurality of telephone numbers of a present station are used selectively for a plurality of purposes or for each call target in one portable telephone set. SOLUTION: The portable telephone set can privately use a plurality of telephone numbers of the present station with a single unit, and comprises a call arrival notification means for notifying the incoming call in a predetermined call arrival mode, a period-setting means which can set a term for changing the incoming call arrival mode, a decision means for deciding whether there is incoming call arrival within the period set by the period-setting means, and an incoming call mode change means for changing the incoming call mode of incoming call notification using the incoming call notification means, according to a result of the decision by the decision means.
