PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal power supply voltage drop circuit capable of supplying a stable internal power supply voltage to an internal circuit even at the time of application of power and even at the time of an operating state of the internal circuit without increasing the current consumption. SOLUTION: A reference voltage generating circuit 10 includes a negative feedback circuit and generates a reference voltage VREF controlled by an output signal from the negative feedback circuit. An amplifier circuit DA 1 amplifies the output signal from the negative feedback circuit at application of an external power supply voltage Vcc or at the reception of an external signal. The internal power supply voltage drop circuit 20 drops the external power supply voltage Vcc in accordance with the reference voltage VREF output from the reference voltage generating circuit 10 to generate an internal power supply voltage VINT.
