PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a flat sheet type micro-lens in a simple manner which is mechanically and thermally stable and usable in various optical fields. SOLUTION: The micro-lens is formed by using a light transmissive DLC film (41) and is characterized in that the DLC film (41) includes a refractive-index-modulated region (Rmm), and a condensing action occurs when luminous flux passes through the refractive-index-modulated region.
