PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the false contour and color shift that arise during composited image formation. SOLUTION: This image forming system 20 has a color light supplying means 21 and an image forming means 22. The color light supplying means 21 is provided with a light source 2 and a color filter 1 for time sequentially generating blue light, green light and red light in this order. The blue light, green light and red light are time sequentially supplied in this order from the color light supplying means 21. The blue image, green image and red image constituting the one color composited image are time sequentially formed in this order in synchronization with the supplied respective color light beams in the image forming means 22. Thus by performing image formation in the order reverse from the order of the image composition processing conducted in the cerebrum, the images of the three colors forming one composited image are simultaneously composited in the cerebrum as much as possible. Accordingly, the false contours, color shift, etc., can be reduced and the clear images can be obtained and moreover, unpleasantness and asthenopia are reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
