PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision simulator and a collision simulation method by which a person experiences a simulated collision between a vehicle and an object such as a pedestrian or a bicycle. SOLUTION: The collision simulator 1 is constituted of a vehicle (2) which travels on a prescribed course 4 at desired speed, and an object (3) which moves in the direction to intersect with the traveling direction of the vehicle (2) and collides with the vehicle (2).
