PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to carry out the movement of a display region without having the sense of incongruity and to take measures to prevent image persistence regardless display sources. SOLUTION: The display device comprising a display element and an outer frame section is equipped with a display region moving means for moving the display region, and a display element moving means for moving the display element and prevents the image persistence without allowing the user from being conscious of the movement of the display region by moving the display element in a direction opposite to the movement of the display region.
