PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erroneous reading preventive mechanism for a measuring instrument device precluded from the possibility of being flawed or deposited with dust to induce erroneous reading, and adopted easily to the various kinds of measuring instrument devices. SOLUTION: The measuring instrument device is provided with a display part 9 for displaying or indicating a weighed value or a measured value, and a cover member 5 provided to cover the display part 9 and provided with a window hole 12 allowing perspective view of the display part 9. In the device, a transparent window material 14 is attached to the window hole 12, and a lens part 15 allowing magnification display is provided at least on an inner face opposed to the display part 9 in the window material 14. A surface of the lens part 15 is precluded from the possibility of contacting with foreign matter to be flawed and the possibility of being deposited with the dust, since the lens part 15 is formed on the inner face of the window material 14.
