PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing for a damping member of a vehicle, simply manufacturable and assemblable. SOLUTION: This bearing 1 for the damping member 3 of the vehicle through an elastomer element 5 in a car body 2 is composed of a bearing plate 4 fixed to the car body and a cover 6. In the type where the elastomer element is stored in a recessed part 10 in the bearing plate, the elastomer element is flexibly held between the cover and the bearing plate substantially without pre-load before assembling, and held in the compressed state between the cover and the bearing plate in the assembled state, and the cover is supported on the car body.
