<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a UIM adaptor on which a contact type SIM or a contact/non-contact type SIM can be mounted, to which USB equipment can be connected, and which can be biometrically authenticated. <P>SOLUTION: A SIM adaptor 1 is structured so that a contact type or a contact/non-contact type SIM can be attachably/detachably mounted, and is provided with a USB connector 20 (1), an IC chip for interface conversion (2) or an IC chip for control (3). This SIM adaptor 1 may be arbitrarily provided with a liquid crystal display 4, a finger print sensor 6 and a wire-wound antenna coil. This SIM adaptor 1 is further provided with a hub controller for USB and one or more receptacles 8 for USB.
