COLOR FILTER AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter having post spacers with which a liquid crystal display device having a constant gap between transparent substrates is fabricated in assembling a cell therefor.

SOLUTION: The color filter has at least a transparent substrate; pixel parts formed on the transparent substrate; light shielding parts formed on the transparent substrate and between the pixel parts; and the post spacers formed on the light shielding parts, and is characterized by having the number of the post spacers per 1 mm2formed on a peripheral part of an effective display region of the color filter being more than the number of the post spacers per 1 mm2formed on a center part of the effective display region of the color filter.
