PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively easily output a route retrieved, under different retrieval conditions. SOLUTION: This navigation system computes and displays a predicted travel time period or a predicted arrival time of the retrieved route, through the use of link costs predetermined for computing predicted travel time periods, regardless of the retrieval conditions used for the retrieval. A link travel time period, determined by statistically processing traffic information collected in the past is, for example, used as the link costs for computing the predicted travel time period.
