PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin display device whose housing is manufactured by resin forming, with the speaker box part of which is simplified to thereby facilitate production of its metallic dies. SOLUTION: In order to form the speaker box 16 formed square in front view to the corners of the housing formed with a resin-made front cabinet 11, and a resin-made rear cabinet 12, barriers 14a, 14b are projected from positions of two inner sides of the rear cabinet 12 and sidewalls 12a, 12b of the rear cabinet 12 are used, in place of barriers for two outer sides. Tips of the barriers 14a, 14b and the side walls 12a, 12b are pressed into contact with the front cabinet 11 via an elastic member 15, to enclose the front and rear cabinets 11, 12. As a result, barrier walls are no longer projected for the two outer sides of the speaker box 16, and the structure of the forming metallic dies of the rear cabinet 12 is simplified by that much.
