PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a residential air conditioner capable of appropriating an outdoor unit of an existing residential heat pump type air conditioner, and capable of providing a comfortable air conditioning effect by leading cold/hot water to heat transfer parts. SOLUTION: The residential air conditioner is provided with an air side heat exchanger 1 of an electric power drive type having a condensing function of condensing a refrigerant during cooling operation, and an evaporating function of evaporating the refrigerant during heating operation, a water side heat exchanger 2 carrying out heat exchange between the refrigerant and water to provide cold/hot water, and the heat transfer parts 32, 34a, 34b, and 36 to which the cold/hot water of the water side heat exchanger 2 is led through piping.
