PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airship and an airship system capable of preventing breakage of a floating means caused by the contact with a ceiling and easily and reliably keeping the constant height. SOLUTION: The airship 2 comprises a floating means 21 which flies along a ceiling T, and is filled with floating gas, and capable of obtaining the floating force larger than the gravity on the airship 2; a protective means 26 brought into contact with the ceiling T during the flight to prevent the contact of the floating means 21 with the ceiling T; and a moving means 22 to move the airship 2 by giving the propulsive force to the airship 2. The airship flies by obtaining the propulsive force by the moving means 22 while bringing the protective means 26 into contact with the ceiling T by the floating force of the floating means 21.
