PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device of a boat with an outboard motor to enhance the straight advancing property of the boat. SOLUTION: The power steering device of a boat with an outboard motor comprises an outboard motor body 6 turnably arranged on a hull rear part in the right-to-left direction with respect to a hull, a steering mechanism 4 to turn the outboard motor according to the steering operation of a steering wheel at a driver's seat, a torque sensor 35 to detect the steering torque of the steering wheel, an assist means 5 to perform the power assist in the steering direction according to the detected signal of at least the torque sensor, and a controller which takes in the detected signal of the torque sensor, and operates it to drive the assist means. The controller integrally controls the power steering device, and has an electrically erasable and programmable read-only memory to rewrite the control condition of the power steering device.
