The invention relates to a moulding device for blow moulding recipients made of a thermoplastic material comprising a mould (1) consisting of two mould halves (1a, 1b) which are movable with respect to each other and provided with locking means (14) extending along the total height of the mould halves and comprising two respective hooks (17a, 17b), which are oriented towards each other, two respective recesses (18a, 18b) adjacent to said hooks and a rotatable gib (19) adjacent to the hook and interacting with the other hook in such a way that the two mould-halves are locked in the closed position thereof or are released from each other, said gib being inserted into the recess (18a).
