<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation system such that when there are identical boxes (which have the same box name or are set by the same user) among a plurality of MFPs connected through a network, the boxes can share data in the boxes and even if an MFP as a box transfer destination can not be used, box printing can be performed from another MFP on condition that the the MPF having box setting completed is available. <P>SOLUTION: When a PC transfers data to a box in a specified MFP, the data are stored in an external file server. The server judges whether or not there is an identical box at MFPs on the network and transfers the stored data to the MFP having the identical box when the identical box is present. The server manages update information of respective boxes and reflects similar update on other boxes during the update to allow data sharing among the boxes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
