MAGNETIC CARD WRITER AND MAGNETIC CARD WRITING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic card writer capable of erasing a magnetizing pattern of a magnetic medium of the magnetic card without using an erase head and also capable of appropriately erasing the magnetizing pattern of the magnetic medium positioned in small space even if the small space is formed between magnetizing elements of a magnetic head, and to provide a magnetic card writing method.

SOLUTION: This magnetic card writer is characterized in that the magnetizing pattern recorded on the magnetic medium 16b is erased by controlling the magnetic head 38 so as to output a magnetism to the magnetic medium 16b from the magnetic head 38 by changing over N-poles and S-poles with a specified period in the state in which the magnetic card 16, and the magnetic head 38 capable of outputting the magnetism to the magnetic medium 16a which is arranged on the magnetic card 16 and in which the specified magnetizing pattern is recordable, are relatively moved.
