<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give advantages of extended part life and increased mending property to parts mended by an embodiment of this invention. <P>SOLUTION: These mended parts include parts used for engine operation having a base metallic substrate forming a residual base metallic substrate with reduced thickness by removing one part with thickness of about 1-3 mm, and an overlay bonding coat. The mended parts include a low-growth and environment-resistant bond membrane containing alloys having aluminum content of about 10-60 atom% applied to the residual base metallic substrate, and growth of the environment resistant bond membrane into the substrate is smaller than that of a conventional bonding coat, the residual base metallic substrate with thickness smaller than about 1-3 mm is removed at the next part mending time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
