<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of relaxing a shock to be applied to an image forming device main body when closing a paper feeding cassette, capable of preventing a displacement of a regulating plate due to the shock, capable of preventing the generation of damage in the regulating plate and the image forming device main body, and capable of excellently feeding paper. <P>SOLUTION: In this image forming device 1, an opening part side surface 1c of the image forming device main body 1a is provided with a sensor 31 as a detecting means for detecting opening/closing condition of a paper feeding cassette 7 and formed of a light emitting element 31a and a light receiving element 31b facing to each other through a locus of the opening/closing movement of the paper feeding cassette 7. A back surface 7a of the paper feeding cassette 7 is provided with two electromagnets 33 as a magnetic force generating means, and a surface 1e of the image forming device main body 1a (a back surface of the opening part 1b) opposite to the back surface 7a is provided with two electromagnets 34 as a magnetic force generating means. With this structure, when pushing the paper feeding cassette 7 in a direction A and closing it, immediately before the paper feeding cassette 7 is closed, attraction force and repulsion force generated between the electromagnets 33 and 34 are switched to each other to absorb a shock to be generated when installing the paper feeding cassette 7, and positioning error of the paper feeding cassette 7 can be thereby prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
