The time of detecting vehicle-in-front information 50 is added to information on the target speed. The engine ECU 3 controls the operation of an actuator based on the target speed data or the like received from the vehicle-to-vehicle control ECU 2. The time in which the effective period is added to the detection time added to the reception data is compared with the present time, and it is determined whether or not the reception data are invalid for the effective period.
