<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner allowing the easy cleaning of an air filter. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises the disk-like air filter 5 disposed between a front grille (not shown in the figure) for taking in indoor air, and a heat exchanger (not shown in the figure); a drive unit 14 for rotationally driving the air filter 5; a guider 15 arranged from the outer periphery of the air filter 5 toward the center; a suction nozzle 12 with one side provided with a suction part 12a opened facing the air filter 5 and with the other end rotatably supported outside the projection plane of the air filter 5; and a dust collecting unit 13 communicating with the suction part 12a to suck and collect dust.
