PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic apparatus which has high reliability and moreover, is capable of outputting high-quality sounds. SOLUTION: There are provided a super-magnetostrictive actuator 3 having a strut-like magnetostrictive element 61 which elongates/contracts in the direction of axial line by applying a magnetic field, based on the inputted acoustic signal thereto, a mounting board 22 for mounting the super-magnetostrictive actuator 3 thereon, and an outer case 21 which is integrated with the mounting board 22 and where vibration is transmitted and acoustic signal is output, based on the elongation/contraction of the strut-like magnetostrictive element 61 thereto. The super-magnetostrictive actuator 3 is disposed so that a fixed portion 42 is fixed on the mounting board 22; and a tip abutting portion 64c is abutted to the outer case 21, and transmits the vibration, based on the elongation/contraction of the strut-like magnetostrictive element 61 to the outer case 21.
