PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interphone terminal for surely making a voice speech by simple operations, when switching of speech direction by voice switch is difficult. SOLUTION: A remote controller having interphone speech functions for remotely controlling a water heater includes a forced speech transmission mode setting means 42 for inhibiting the switching of a speech direction by the voice switch 46 so as to reach a "forced speech transmission mode", wherein the speech direction is maintained for a "speech transmission direction"; a reception direction setting instruction means 41 for transmitting a speech-receiving direction setting signal Rs_sig, when the "forced speech transmission mode" is set; and a forced reception mode setting means 43 for inhibiting switching of the speech direction by the voice switch 46, to keep the speech direction in the "speech-receiving direction", when receiving the speech-receiving direction setting signal Rs_sig.
