PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of connection terminals in forming an integrated circuit by integrating each circuit element of a DC-DC converter. SOLUTION: This DC-DC converter includes a detection circuit (51) for generating a detection signal if the voltage of a driving signal applied to a gate terminal of a MOS-FET(8) from a driving winding (6c) of a transformer (6); and a stopping circuit (52) for stopping ON/OFF operations of the MOS-FET(8) if a detection signal of the detection circuit (51) occurs. The detection circuit (51) and the stopping circuit (52) can be connected on a single line for connecting an input terminal (BD) of the driving signal from the driving winding (6c) of the transformer (6) and an input terminal of the detection circuit (51), thus reducing the number of the connection terminals in forming the integrated circuit consisting of the detection circuit (51) and the stopping circuit (52) including the MOS-FET(8).
