PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select and reproduce music suitable for a present situation on the basis of a past reproduction history, in a music reproduction device having an automatic reproduction function. SOLUTION: This music reproduction device 100 has: a music data storage part 1 storing music data; a music reproduction part 2 reproducing the music data; a situation acquisition part 3 acquiring situation data on the present situation; a reproduction list generation part 4 generating a list of reproduction music; and a reproduction history data storage part 6 storing the music reproduction history as reproduction history data together with the situation data from the situation acquisition part 3. When a reproduction instruction is issued, the situation acquisition part 3 acquires the situation data when the reproduction instruction is inputted, the reproduction list generation part 4 acquires the situation data from the situation acquisition part 3, reads the reproduction history data, selects the music having a large number of reproduction frequencies in a situation similar to the present on the basis of a situation shown in the reproduction history data and the situation data, and generates the reproduction list, and the music reproduction part 2 reproduces the music according to the reproduction list.
