PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flapper device for a platform in a lifting device for a vehicle provided with fastness, certain operability and safety property at low cost, easily handled by a regular person and rich in marketability. SOLUTION: In the lifting device for the vehicle, the flapper is standably/fallably arranged at a rear end of the platform. The flapper device for the platform in the lifting device for the vehicle comprises a flapper continuous contact operation standing/falling rod continuously contacted with a back surface of the flapper and standing/falling and turning the flapper making a bearing of the platform as a center; a flapper cylinder for standing/falling the flapper continuous contact operation standing/falling rod; and a lock plate provided with a lock groove urged to a constant position by spring pressure and engaged with a lock pin of the standing flapper while opposed to it.
