摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit configuration and a method therefor for applying a reverse voltage (hereafter described as reverse voltage) to a light emitting element, in order to control deterioration of the light emitting element and improve reliability for a display device with new pixel circuits. <P>SOLUTION: A signal line is electrically connected to a 1st power source line via a switching transistor and an erase transistor, and a current control transistor and a driving transistor is connected in series between the power source line and one of the 1st and 2nd electrodes of the light emitting element. The pixel circuit comprises: an analog switch provided with a 1st transistor of which the gate electrode is connected to the 1st power line, and a 2nd transistor in which the gate electrode is connected to a 2nd power line; and a bias transistor in which the gate electrode is connected to a 3rd power line, and one of the source and drain is connected to the 1st power source line, and the other is connected to an output terminal of the analog switch and a scanning line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
