<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knee-length warming overskirt whose bottom can be narrowed with an elastic cord solving such problems that it sometimes happens that the body of a wearer gets chilly, while not knowing, during the wearer works in the kitchen in a room in winter without wearing any warming garment when being not so much cold as being required to wear a Hanten (a short coat worn over a kimono) or padded over pants, or she feels inconvenient in action because of becoming thickly dressed or being hard to bend her (his) knee when working in the kichen while wearing the Hanten and also the padded over pants, a warming long skirt or the like in the room when being cold in winter. <P>SOLUTION: The over skirt comprises a skirt-type one having a knee length from the waist and so designed as to narrow a bottom with the elastic cord. The skirt may be made of fabric the inside of which is made warm and the outside of which is hard to draw wind so as to make the wearer to enjoy the skirt as a reversible one.
