<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with the necessity for a carrier truck to store stopping control data in each stop position, to facilitate the addition or a change of the stop position, to allow the acquisition of the stopping control data without performing communication one by one then and there if necessary, and to replace a position sensor of the carrier truck without teaching. <P>SOLUTION: The ground side is provided with a storage means 22 of data for transferring a load or the control data related to a stop of the carrier truck 8 in each station 10, and the carrier truck is provided with a means 16 receiving the data from the storage means. The control data on a load transfer amount, presence/absence of the necessity of the stop, or the like related to each the station on this side of each the station are read in an ID tag or the like, and the transfer of the load and the stop of a ceiling travel vehicle are controlled on the basis of the data.
