PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor drive control system, that can not only conduct driving conventional functions for stepping motor evaluation and other like purposes, but also easily drive a stepping motor, even in a state of actual use involving the timing of control and the like. SOLUTION: The stepping motor drive control system comprises a motor controller 2 and a host computer 1. The motor controller comprises a driver 5 that drives a stepping motor 7 and a controller 6 that controls driving by the driver 5. The host computer is connected with the motor controller 2, edits sequence data for the sequence of control carried out by the controller 6, and transfers the sequence data to the motor controller 2. The motor controller 2c is provided with a general-purpose input port 35 for trigger for causing the state of control in execution to immediately transition to a preset other control state.
