PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera unit capable of reducing drive noise being generated through vibrations of the stepping motor in a driver by employing a simple and inexpensive motor drive circuit. SOLUTION: The camera unit comprises a section for imaging an object, and a driver for turning the imaging section wherein the driver comprises a stepping motor M having a plurality of exciting coils L arranged around a rotor 8, and circuits 22 and 32 for driving the stepping motor by feeding the exciting coils L with an exciting current, and an integrating circuit RC is connected across each exciting coil L.
