PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration absorbing device 1 comprising an inner cylinder 11, an outer cylinder 13 arranged coaxially outside the inner cylinder 11, a first rubber body 17 integrally connecting the inner cylinder 11 to the outer cylinder 13 for absorbing the vibration of a power plant 5 in the radial direction of the inner cylinder, and a stopper body 23 for restricting the displacement of the inner cylinder 11 relative to the outer cylinder 13 in the axial direction of the inner cylinder 11, maintaining the effect of absorbing the vibration of the power plant 5 even when great acceleration occurs in the axial direction of the inner cylinder 11, while achieving high durability, low cost and easy layout. SOLUTION: On a stopper mounting portion 21 of the outer cylinder 13, the stopper body 23 is provided which extends approximately parallel to the axis of the inner cylinder 11 and has a protruded portion 23a protruded to the axial outside of the end face of the outer cylinder 13. When an axial load is applied to the inner cylinder 11 and the protruded portion 23a of the stopper body 23 gets into contact with a mounting bracket 9 supporting the inner cylinder 11, the protruded portion 23a is made to rock around a base end portion 23b held by the second rubber body 25 in the radial direction of the inner cylinder 11.
